During my time at Anglia Ruskin University in Cambridge between the years of 2015 and 2017 I learned a lot of new tools and techniques, and one of the most groundbreaking of them all for me was Ableton Live 9. This changed everything for me as this really brought me out of the box. Although it wasn't easy for me to come out of my known and comfortable territory that is Logic, which I had been using since about 2004.

A few days before New Years Day of 2017 came around I broke up with my girlfriend and I decided to channel my emotions into a track which I named 'A New Beginning.' I uploaded the track onto my SoundCloud. It was a very simple but emotion inspired piece, but I decided to pick it up about 6 to 8 months later as a few other pieces came into being. In the Spring of 2017 I began to notice the birds and the nature more than I ever have in the past. Most of life prior to this experience I had spent on my laptop, either creating music, playing Old School Runescape, or Minecraft, merely to escape my self victimised harsh existence. So this to me was the real beginning of a spiritual awakening if you like. Thus the second track came into being which was called 'Awakening.'

Slowly but surely more material was arising as more inspiration was seeping into my being as I was raising my vibration, through cultivating a steady Spiritual practice such as attending Triratna Buddhist evenings at the Cambridge Buddhist Centre, through working with psychedelics, through meditation, you name it. One of my biggest inspirations was partaking in the drinking of the Amazonian Medicinal brew named as Ayahuasca with the Shaman that goes by the name of Don Gino. This shattered my reality to the very core and enabled me to see the light that is my naked soul. The beauty that came pouring out into the rest of the production of my album felt wonderful to me.

At last on the 20th of June, the Summer Solstice it was released under the title 'Astral Emotions.'
